Minnie Menon, a BA Honors in History from Elphinstone College Mumbai has a PG qualification in Journalism from KC College ,Mumbai.
She has an extensive advertising background having been with JWT, McCann and Artig ( an erstwhile subsidiary of Ogilvy & Mather ).
She has vast experience in building brands and conceptualizing Landmark events and promotions.
After 17 years in the business, she left advertising when she was Executive Director of the Ogilvy subsidiary to pursue her passion in the area of sports marketing.
Minnie was chosen by the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association to pioneer and market the first ever instadia Giant screen to be launched in India, at Chepauk.
Minnie has also handled brand endorsements for Adam Gilchrist and Dennis Lillee . Minnie has served as a Council member of the Tamil Nadu Tennis Association. She was instrumental in orchestrating a memorable event to honour Vijay Amritraj on his nomination as UN Messenger of Peace.
Minnie , as Associate Dean was an integral part of the start-up team of Chennai Business School. She ensured that the footprint of the School was firmly established among industry and the student community. Minnie has used her professional skills to help social organizations like the Spastics Society ( Vidya Sagar), Cheshire Homes and more. Minnie has also been consulting in the marketing and promotional area with a number of organizations. Minnie writes a popular weekly newspaper column on society and events.
Minnie has recently been appointed as an Ambassador in India of the one and only International Cricket Hall of Fame (TICHOF) owned by the Bradman Foundation and being constructed in Bowral, Australia.
